Eleven-year-old Nazirullah suffered from badly deformed clubfeet since he was abandoned at the steps of an orphanage in Kabul 11 years ago.
Afghan Scouts, under PARSA, solicited funds from soldiers at the nearby Camp Phoenix military base to raise enough money for his extensive surgery. He was admitted at the Kabul French Hospital, and after his surgery, he is steadily recovering and enjoys playing. He said he also looks forward to joining his Scout friends again.
